Will.i.am takes to twitter to defend looking like a jiggaboo

Black Eyed Peas’ frontman Will.i.am is well-known for his outrageous costumes and chart-topping hits.
However, when he decided to dress like a “jiggaboo” during Sunday night’s MTV Video Music Awards,
his “coonish” style make-up wasn’t met with a warm welcome…
The singer, who performed during the VMA pre-show alongside rapper Nicki Minaj,
outraged many fans when he appeared to be wearing blackface.
In addition to donning black face paint, Will.i.am also wore an
all-black leather outfit complete with a matching shiny hair piece.
Following his performance, the Twitterverse went in on him,
folks were slamming the 35-year-old rapper and
comparing his look to 19th century minstrel shows,
in which white actors performed in theatrical black make-up,
and performed racist stereotypes abut African Americans.
Willy lynch LOL j/k… finally jumped on twitter to defend himself this is what he said:
“1st. just because I where all black including head mask as expression and emphasize my outfit,
it shouldn’t be looked at as racial…,”
Willy lump lump then went on to say: “Let go of the past. there are far more important things 2 bark about.
(Jobs, health, education) not a black man wearing all black everything.”
Two hours later, as criticism STILL continued to flood his account, Will then said:
“Are you guys serious? my outfit set ‘black people back 100 yrs’ choose your twits wisely.
no education sets people back, no jobs, bad health.”
If you think Will.i.am is the only “coon ” in the picture your sadly mistaken.
you can’t knock him, and not say shit about nicki… c’mon son how is everyone dissing him
yet it’s ok for a grown black women to rock pink hair and blue contacts…folks kill me with the hypocrisy.

When I first saw Lady Gaga, in her infamous meat dress my first thought was
“where the hell is PETA’s crying ass?”
This is the 2nd time lady Gaga has come underfire for rocking meat chunks,
she wore a meat bikini on the cover of Vogue Hommes Japan magazine.
she really pushed the envelope with her latest meat obsession.
. 
Ellen DeGeneres, who is a vegan, asked Gaga about the dress for an interview airing today.
this is was Gaga said:
“Well, it is certainly no disrespect to anyone that is vegan or vegetarian. As you know, I am the most judgment-free human being on the earth,” said Gaga. “However, it has many interpretations but for me this evening. If we don’t stand up for what we believe in and if we don’t fight for our rights, pretty soon we’re going to have as much rights as the meat on our own bones. And, I am not a piece of meat.”
Ellen then presented her with a veggie bikini and suggested she try that next time she wants to make a statement.

I along with many other people watched the VMA’s last night, I tweeted back and forth with my followers
most of us thought the show was garbage, I had more fun reading my timeline on twitter lol.
I wasn’t feeling how they kept trying to play Kanye, Chelsea clowned the hell out of him all night long,
but I don’t feel bad for him, because he shouldn’t have kept apologizing to Taylor on twitter.
The mess with Taylor Swift is over a year old, they both need to get over it.
Beside being pretty Taylor Swift, is nothing to write home about
her performance was the most boring thing I’ve ever seen,
if your gonna clown someone for dissing you,then you better make sure you bring it…
the song that Kanye performed was pretty funny.
Lady ATTENTIONWHORE was rocking a pair of snake skin Goat feet shoes,
i’m sure the Baphomet couldn’t have been prouder…
please don’t get me started on that meat dress.
Lady Gaga won the most awards, i believe she took home 8 moonmen.
Eminem and Rhianna rocked the opening act,
Drake, Swizz and Mary performed a formal version of “Fancy,” T.I. was no where to be seen.

John Legend defends his hairline, he was not please that his hairline made the trending topics on twitter.
I even sent out a tweet saying “John Legend wins a humanitarian award and all ya’ll can talk about is his hairline?”
well at first I thought is was just a few folks on my timeline, but with in30mins, his hairline was trending,
LOL, I can’t front some of the comments were pretty funny, celebs need to stop getting overly sensitive about twitter
everyone gets clowned, hell souljaboy got clowned so bad the other day, that he supposedly shut down his old account,
he now has a new one, it’s part of the territory…

BET AWARDS 2010 wrap up

The BET Awards were Hosted by Queen Latifah, there were many performances that stood out…including a pregnant Alicia Keys, Eminem backed by a choir on “Not Afraid,” Monica(not sure what she had on) was joined by R&B legend Deniece Williams, T.I. in his first television appearance since released from prison.
Kanye West, opened the awards show with a song called “Power,” we haven’t seen Ye since the interruption of Taylor Swift’s acceptance speech during the VMAs bwahaha…
Closing out the show was Ludacris, who was joined by DJ Khaled, who actually rapped and said more then
“we the best” T-Pain and officer Rick Ross were on stage as well.
we all found out that Kirk Franklin, couldn’t sing… John Legend won a humanitarian award, but no one noticed
becuase his hair line was JACKED UP… lol his hairline also made the top trending topics on twitter, smh only on twitter.
Music icon Prince was presented with this year’s lifetime achievement award. To the disappointment of many fans,
Prince did not perform, but Prince was paid tribute musically by Janelle Monae, bassist/singer Esperanza Spalding,
Alicia Keys and Patti LaBelle.
During the performance of ‘Purple Rain’ Patti LaBelle proceeds to kick off her heels smh,
thank God the purple one didn’t get busted upside his head by her high heel shoe….
he caught it, and waved it in the air like it was a baseball from a MN Twins game lol.
