Dexter Isaac Confesses To 1994 Robbery/Shooting Of 2Pac
Jun 16th

In a statement to AllHipHop, Dexter Isaac calls Jimmy Henchmen a government informant and takes responsibility for robbing and shooting Tupac Shakur in 1994.
In 1994, Tupac Shakur was shot during a robbery while entering New York’s Quad Studios. After sustaining five gunshot wounds, Shakur would check himself out of the hospital and attend the sexual abuse trial that would send him to jail one year later. Until his death, ‘Pac maintained that Notorious B.I.G. and Sean Combs were somehow connected to the shooting. He named former B.I.G. associate James “Henchmen” Rosemond in the song “Against All Odds.”
On Wednesday, Dexter Isaac spoke that Rosemond paid him $2,500 to rob Shakur. In addition to claiming Rosemond was a government informant, Isaac also cast doubt on Sean Combs. Rosemond the onetime manager of Game, Shyne and Gucci Mane, is currently wanted by the DEA.
“In 1994, James Rosemond hired me to rob 2Pac Shakur at the Quad Studio,” Isaac said via written statement. “He gave me $2500 plus all the jewelry I took, except for one ring, which he wanted for himself. It was the biggest of the two diamond rings that we took. He said he wanted to put the stone in a new setting for his girlfriend at the time, Cynthia Ried. I still have as proof the chain that we took that night in the robbery.”
Chuck Phillips named both Combs and Rosemond in conjunction with the 2Pac shooting in a 2008Los Angeles Times report. Both Combs and Rosemond would vehemently deny any involvement, and the report was later retracted. While authorities have not named either man in the Shakur shooting, Rosemond faces up to 20 years in prison on drug distribution charges.
The whole time 2pac blame Biggie and Diddy for his robbery and shooting… In a interview Tupac said he knew who robbed him,
but he wouldnt snitch, It’s sad that two of our biggest rappers lost their life over a misunderstanding.
Lil Wayne Discusses MTV2 Unplugged Performance, Covering 2Pac
Jun 9th

Lil Wayne is currently gearing up for the debut of his “MTV2 Presents: Lil Wayne Unplugged” performance, but before the special airs, he’s addressing his detractors. Weezy recently spoke with MTV about those who might change their opinion of him once they see him in action.
“I’d say thank you very much and please tune into my ‘Unplugged’ and understand why I was given the opportunity to have an ‘Unplugged,’” he said. “I believe that the ‘Unplugged’ stage is a platform for you to show and prove to people that don’t know too much about you. Actually, people that may have thought otherwise about you.”
He also explained why he chose to cover 2Pac’s “Hail Mary” during his performance. “I chose the Tupac song ‘Hail Mary’ because I thought that it was very similar to my situation that I was just recently in. I was just incarcerated and ‘Pac was incarcerated. There’s a whole bunch of similarities between ‘Pac and I, and I just thought it was the perfect song. I had to give a tribute to the people who did what I do so much better than I do.”
Catch the special airing this Sunday, June 12th at 9pm ET on MTV and MTV2.
Everybody wants to be Pac, but nobody wanna feel them shoes before they feel them shots… DJ Quik said it best!

Monday (September 13) is the 14th anniversary of the death of Tupac Shakur. Pac died in 1996, after succumbing to gunshot wounds he suffered a week prior when leaving a Mike Tyson fight in Las Vegas.
Travie McCoy still vividly remembers the day. He said he did not believe the news at first.
“I was still in high school,” McCoy recalled at the VMA Radio Forum on Friday in Los Angeles. “I was a freshman. I got to school and kids were crying. Kids were upset. I was like, ‘What’s going on?’ I hadn’t heard the news. I thought somebody in the school had died. They was, ‘Nah — Tupac didn’t make it.’ My jaw immediately dropped. My school took it upon themselves to play R.E.M.’s ‘Everybody Hurts.’ It was pandemonium. Everybody burst in tears, in pieces. It was a sad day. He was a fallen soldier to say the least.”
Like so many others, McCoy loved Shakur’s music but he also respected the rap legend as a person.
“I came up on Pac. I think I might have given [my cousin] Tyga his first Pac record,” Travie said. “I just got tingles thinking about that day. Thinking about hearing one of the saddest songs played over the loudspeaker in school when he got killed. It’s a shame. But his music lives on. I was listening to All Eyez on Me three days ago.”
Meanwhile, veteran rapper-producer David Banner also recently commented about Pac’s passing. In an MTV News interview Friday, Banner said, “It was bigger than the death of a rapper. It was the death of an icon for young people … Pac was deeper than music.”

Mike tyson talks about 2pac on 30 for 30 documentary series
Sep 8th

Last night, Suge Knight was trending on twitter and I didn’t know why…well ESPN aired the latest installment of their 30 For 30 documentary series, this time highlighting the friendship of Mike Tyson and Tupac.
Titled One Night in Vegas, it’s a revealing documentary that examines the relationship between the tenacious fighter and the tumultuous rapper, it also shows events that went down on the night of September 7, 1996 which was the night Pac got shot…
One Night In Vegas is directed by Reggie Rock Bythewood, here’s a snippet.
Diddy’s interview with Martin Bashir
Jun 15th

Diddy sat down for an interview with ‘Nightline’s’ Martin Bashir.
When asked if he enjoyed being a dad, Diddy said yes but admitted that it was the area that he did not consider himself most successful, citing that his kids “deserved more (of his) personal time.”
That response jump-started a series of questions about Diddy’s parental discretion that made the hip-hop figure visibly annoyed at times.
Bashir suggested that Diddy was setting a bad example as a role model by having six kids by multiple women.
Diddy defended himself, saying, “All of my kids are taken care of. They all go to the best schools.” Bashir quipped, “But you don’t live with them.”
Nightline also aired footage of the VH1 show My Super Sweet 16, celebrating Diddy’s son Justin. That episode made the news when it aired in February because Diddy gave Justin a Maybach car worth more than $360,000. Bashir asked Diddy what many people wanted to know — “Do you think it was appropriate to buy your 16-year-old son a Maybach car worth almost $400,000?”
Diddy seemed put off by the question, replying that he can give his kids whatever he wanted. But as Bashir continued to press the issue, Diddy grew increasingly annoyed.
When Bashir asked if giving such a lavish gift imposed a “sensible lesson,” Diddy said, “I feel the way I raise my children, you know, I don’t have to explain to you or anybody else because nobody knows the way I raise my children.”
A persistent Bashir tried an additional time to get Diddy to admit that the gesture was excessive, but Diddy stood his ground.
“It wasn’t even about a lesson,” he said with attitude. “It’s what I wanted to do. I can do whatever I want to do with my children. And you can’t question me about it. Nobody can question me about what I do with my children.”
I’m glad Bashir was bold enough to call Diddy out, on having 6 kids buy multiple women, granted he can afford to take of them, but he can’t give all of these kids quality time…plus he is a role model like it or not a lot of young men think it’s ok to have multiple families unfortunately “most” of these young men who find themselves in this situation don’t have money like Diddy so the kids suffer in the long run…with that being said if were gonna call out Diddy then we need to call out white rockstars who do the same like Gene Simmons, Mick Jagger etc, it goes 2 ways in my opinion these men are no better then Diddy but they never get called out.
As far as Diddy buying Justin a 400k maybach, I don’t think it makes Diddy a bad father,
but I also think that a 16-year-old kid doesn’t need a car that costs double what the average family brings home in an entire year. even if he can afford it, I don’t think it’s that’s serious, but at the end of the day Diddy is a grown man and he’s gonna do what he wants to do…
