Alicia Keys says she loves her marriage with Swizz Beatz!
The 31 year-old singer admitted to PEOPLE magazine that she enjoys their friendship.
“It’s so fly, There’s something great about feeling at peace and ease with your partner and knowing you understand each other. I really enjoy that friendship,” she says.
Besides their music backgrounds, Keys says she can find many similarities between her and producer hubby Swizz. He even helps her pick out outfits for special events.
“There are so many similarities between us, it’s just mind-blowing. It’s really cool to have met my equal. I can say, ‘I’m not sure about this look for the BET Awards. What do you think?’ and I know that he will honestly tell me exactly what’s up.”
The happy couple so far appear to be a perfect match with their son Egypt, who was born last fall. Alicia still remembers their wedding as being one of the best days of her life.
“When I walked down [the aisle] and saw him, I could barely hold myself together. It was so beautiful – just about he and I and our love. The wedding was one of the best days of my life.”
How you get them is how you lose em, so enjoy the good times while they last….

“It’s about becoming more centered in myself. Having the baby has connected me to a deep, more womanly place,”
I love how she is so “connected” but yet in still, the nanny is pushing the stroller,

Alicia Keys is padding up her resume by getting behind the camera and producing five short films.
Pictures surfaced showing her in action alongside Tracee Ellis Ross, Jenifer Lewis, Jeffrey Tambor,
Rosario Dawson and Jeanne Tripplehorn.
Here is what Entertainment Rundown reported…
Alicia Keys is making her directorial debut directing
one of five short films that comprise Lifetime’s new film,Project Five.
The five films, put together as one, is about how breast cancer has affected people’s lives.
Alicia’s film is titled Lili and features Tracee Ellis Ross, Jenifer Lewis, Jeffrey Tambor,
Rosario Dawson and Jeanne Tripplehorn.
Jennifer Aniston is the film’s executive producer and will direct one of the short films.
Other directors include Demi Moore and Patty Jenkins.
Wow never knew Alicia Keys had it in her to produce movies.
I will be looking forward for this movie to hit the big screens .

KING: Can you explain the “Loyalty” tattoo on your hand?
MASHONDA: I got it a year after everything started going downhill. It’s a reminder to me that I have to be loyal to myself for once.
Elaborate, please.
I was so loyal to everyone, and I totally forgot about me. This is what it represents—it represents loyalty to self. Now I have to do things that I love to do, and I have to make myself happy, because I don’t really agree when people say, “I need a man ’cause I want to be happy,” or “I’m not happy because I don’t have a man.” That’s not where it starts. Happiness starts from within, and that’s in my focus.
You’re also focused on Love & Hip-Hop. So the show does not revolve around you.
Exactly. I did a few episodes [first], then ended up doing a lot of episodes because the chemistry was perfect with me and Emily. I ended up being a recurring guest, and it worked out perfectly, because I’m on the show and people get to see me and hear my stories. But it’s not like a character that’s 100 percent there.
What is your role with Emily?
I’m like her support system, her counselor. I feel like a female Dr. Phil. That person who gives her advice and is not afraid to tell her my story and show her my life, ’cause I really want her to get hers together.
How awkward was it for you to be the shoulder to lean on?
At the time that we shot, I was in a great place, so that’s what made the difference. I felt like that was my therapy, and that’s all I wanted to do. Anytime I’d log in to Facebook or Twitter, there would be tons of women reaching out to me, thanking me for sharing my story. Those messages gave me a lot of strength, a lot of courage. From that point on, I just wanted to help women, and Emily being a good friend of mine, it was easy for me to go on there and talk to her and be honest.

In 2008, CDC estimated that approximately 56,300 people were newly infected with HIV in 2006.
