CELEBRITY REHAB FAIL…RODNEY KING ARRESTED FOR ALLEGED DUI

Rodney King is back in the news again…SMH
King, who was famously videotaped being beaten by the police way back in the early 90’s, was arrested on suspicion of DUI in Southern California yesterday afternoon (Jul 12).
King was driving a 1993 Mitsubishi in Moreno Valley, CA Thursday afternoon at around 3:30 PM when cops pulled him over. Officers say they saw King, who has publicly acknowledged a longstanding drinking problem, commit “several infractions”
After a “preliminary evaluation of the driver indicated he was possibly driving while impaired,” King was booked into jail for investigation of DUI and his bail was set at $2,500, according to police.
Though it is believed he was “drinking and driving,” It’s not clear what exact substance cops believe King may have been under the influence of at the time of his arrest.
Rodney King became a household name in 1991 after he was videotaped being beaten by cops during a routine arrest. When the four officers, who kicked and struck him over 50 times were acquitted, Los Angeles suffered six days of rioting, which resulted in 53 people being killed and $1 billion dollars worth of property damage.
I hope he gets it together, he seems to be fighting a lot of inner demons.
Natina Reed arrested once again

90′s girl group singer Natina Reed was arrested for DUI in Georgia…
Last year Blaque’s Natina Reed was arrested for wandring the streets with an open bottle of liquor,
Well apparently Natina had graduated from walking around drinking, to driving around drinking smh.
Natina Reed was pulled over in Dunwoody Georgia on June 29th for driving erratically and failed a field sobriety test.
Natina was charged with driving under the influence, reckless driving and driving without a valid Georgia drivers license.
Natina spent two days in jail before coming up with $2,300 to bond out.
ummm where are the other group members to bail her out? where’s kurpt and the dog pound? damn shame.

According to TMZ Tone Loc was arrested Saturday afternoon at an apartment in Burbank, California

after a physical altercation with the mother of his child. Loc was booked on a felony domestic violence charge and is being held on a $50,000.00 bond.

Kat Williams ARRESTED….AGAIN

It’s been a long time since anyone has heard from Kat Williams.
He has officially come out of hiding, and of course, had a run in with the law. Here is what TMZ reported…
Law enforcement sources tell TMZ a man doing tractor work on a Palmdale home where Katt was staying,
claims three women approached his vehicle and began attacking him with rocks and dirt clods around 4:30 Saturday afternoon.
The man, who says he suffered facial injuries in the attack, called his wife to pick him up, but when she arrived,
Katt pulled up in an SUV and blocked their exit. That’s when the man called 911.
The L.A. County Sheriff’s Dept. quickly arrived to the scene, arrested the women for assault with a deadly weapon and busted Katt for felony intimidating a witness.
Katt was hauled to a nearby station, where he was booked. Bail was set at $50,000. Williams was released later that night.

Flo Rida Arrested For DUI In Miami Beach

The “Right Round” rapper was booked for driving with a blood alcohol content of double the legal limit.
Pop rapper Flo Rida was arrested earlier this morning for driving while intoxicated in Miami Beach.
Flo was allegedly driving around in a red-and-black Bugatti, estimated around $1.7 million, when police pulled him over for swerving in his lane.
Cops smelled alcohol during the stop and gave Flo, whose real name is Tramar Dillard, a “walk the line” sobriety test.
Upon attempting the test, he replied, “Officer I can’t do this. I don’t feel I can’t walk a straight line. I had a few drinks. Let’s try another test.”
After he failed, police arrested him on DUI and took him to a station around 3:30 A.M. where he is currently being booked.
Flo’s blood alcohol level was supposedly at .185, more than double the legal limit.
Damn some rappers be asking for trouble, Smh he should have hired him a limo driver.
Cassidy Arrested For Violating Probation Not Murder

Reports said he was wanted for murder and two attempted murders, but that isn’t the case.
Rapper Cassidy was arrested yesterday in Hackensack, New Jersey on several charges. The Philadelphia, Pennsylvania native, whose real name is Barry Reese, was nabbed on a warrant for violating his probation, but was suspected in a murder and two attempted murders in Philly.
Philadelphia Police warrant squad reached out to Hackensack Police Department to inform them that Cassidy, who lives in the Jersey city, had a warrant out for his arrest. They notified the squad that Cassidy was considered “armed and dangerous” and that it was a “high-risk warrant.”
Police were dispatched and followed Cassidy as he went to a local convenience store, confirming his identity and conducting a “felony motor vehicle stop.” Hackensack police Lt. Timothy Lloyd commended the officers for doing “an outstanding job,” and claimed that Cassidy was “very surprised” that he was arrested.
The 28-year-old is currently being held in the Bergen County Jail Annex and will be extradited to Philadelphia. He is most famous for singles including “I’m a Hustla” and “My Drink n My 2 Step.”
Cassidy is not wanted for murder and two attempted murders, but was rather arrested for violating his probation.
“In reference to the recent inquires regarding Barry Reese (aka Cassidy), on Saturday, May 14, 2011, Reese was arrested by Hackensack Police for a probation violation for a previous aggravated assault incident in Philadelphia,” the Philadelphia Police Department’s public affairs office. “Reese was placed in probation violation status for non-reporting only. Reese is currently being held in Bergen County Prison awaiting extradition to Philadelphia. Reese is not wanted for any other crime / violation in Philadelphia.”

Hip-hop artist Cassidy arrested in Hackensack

The Philadelphia Police warrant squad called the Hackensack Police Department on Saturday morning to tell officers there was an open warrant for Hackensack resident Barry Reese,
also known as the rapper Cassidy, Hackensack police Lt. Timothy Lloyd said.
The warrant was for violating probation, but Reese is also a suspect in a murder and two attempted murders in Philadelphia, Lloyd said.
Philadelphia police knew from a prior investigation that the rapper lived in Hackensack, Lloyd said.
Philadelphia police told their Hackensack counterparts “to consider this person armed and dangerous,” and this was a “high-risk warrant,” Lloyd said.
Officers from the Hackensack Police Emergency Response Team and the police department’s juvenile bureau watched Reese’s home Saturday on Reilly Court, Lloyd said.
Reese left his house about 1:30 p.m. and was followed by police to a local convenience store, Lloyd said.
An undercover ERT officer went in the store and positively identified Reese, he said.
When Reese came out of the store, “the ERT units moved in and conducted a felony motor vehicle stop,” Lloyd said.
Reese “was very surprised,” Lloyd said. The officers who arrested the rapper “did an outstanding job,” he said.
“Without the proper teamwork going on, this could have spiraled out of control quickly.”
No one was injured in the arrest, Lloyd said.
Reese, 28, will be brought to the Bergen County Jail Annex to await extradition to Philadelphia, Lloyd said.
Cassidy’s most well-known single is 2005’s “I’m a Hustla,” which reached No. 8 on the Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop charts.

Flava Flav ARRESTED in Vegas…

Flava Flav got pulled over east of the strip, Friday night in Vegas.
Cops ran his information and warrants came up for driving without a license,
driving without insurance and one related to a parking ticket.
Flav was taken to the station and booked….later on Flav took to twitter to defended himself.

GUCCI MANE ARRESTED FOR PUSHING A WOMAN OUT OF A MOVING CAR!

Rapper Gucci Mane was arrested earlier today for a warrant stemming from a recent incident,
in which he pushed a woman out of a moving vehicle…Gucci Mane is currently on probation,
I’m sure this constitues as a violation, This man truly is a short bus shawty LOL.
DeKalb County Police say Radric Davis, also known as Gucci Mane, was arrested by the DeKalb County Fugitive Squad Friday.
Davis was arrested while visiting his probation officer at the Georgia Department of Corrections Probation Office on Sylvan Road in Atlanta, say authorities.
Davis is charged with battery, a misdemeanor but as a result of the arrest will be also charged with violating his probation. Davis is on probation for previous unrelated charges.
Police say they arrested Davis on a warrant that stated he intentionally caused visible bodily harm to a female by pushing her out of a moving vehicle.
Davis is being held in the DeKalb County Jail.

Hotel sources tell us … Gloria was partying at LIV nightclub with some of her girlfriends earlier in the evening … but when she tried to leave the hotel, she got into an altercation with one of the valet parking attendants.
We’re told Gloria allegedly assaulted the valet. Cops received a call about the incident at 4:47 AM. Gloria was eventually arrested on suspicion of misdemeanor assault. The valet was not arrested.
We’re told Gloria has been released from custody.
Gloria has been in trouble with the law before … having been arrested in 2006 for DUI in Ohio.

Rockfeller Sorel claims that Gloria James, mother of NBA MVP Lebron James, slapped him in his face last night after she believed he was taking too long to get her car. Now, Rockfeller’s pic has been revealed. According to TMZ:
The valet parker — Rockfeller Sorel — told cops Gloria smacked him with an open hand on the right side of his face … and after the incident, he sought medical attention — though he doesn’t seem to have any visible injuries in the photo.
Said victim went to the hospital after getting hit and is now lawerying up, according to reports.
I mean, we’ve all had some nights when we felt like valet was just moving a bit too damn slow
especially after a few drinks and you just need to get home ASAP.
The arresting officer says he tried to question 43-year-old Gloria James about the alleged incident at the scene early this morning … but he got “no response just a stare.” After a while, she eventually admitted to having a “minor verbal altercation” with the valet.
The cop says the valet explained that he retrieved James’ car and put it on the valet ramp in front of the hotel while Gloria and a female driver stood around talking to people for 30 minutes. Finally, the valet says he turned the car off.
The valet says Gloria then approached him and stated, “Where are my f**king keys and continued yelling profanities at the victim.”
The report explains, “Then for no apparent reason the arrestee struck the victim with an open had [sic] across the right side of his face and in the process causing herself to lose her balance and falling to the ground.”
After Gloria was transported to a nearby police station, the report continues, a shift commander — Lt. Acosta — tried to speak with James who responded, “I’m trying to trust you but I don’t trust your kind … I don’t trust that officer who arrested me.”
Gloria then told police she “was not going to cooperate because she did nothing wrong.”
