Fat Joe Writes A Letter To Big Pun For His 40th Birthday !

Nov. 10, 2011 marked the 40th birthday of the irreplaceable Big Pun. Eleven years after his death in 2000, the Punisher continues to be remembered for his contribution to rap. To celebrate his life, close friend and Terror Squad partner Fat Joe wrote a sentimental letter to his homie for XXL Magazine, calling him the best father, best friend and best rapper yet to be outdone.
Dear Pun,
Happy Birthday my brother! I wish you were here. We would have done it real big if you was here. I know we getting older now. We would have done it big with our families. The world is missing you. Still to this day, I haven’t heard a better rapper yet. God bless you.
When the world lost you, they lost an incredible spirit, an angel. Besides just being a dope rapper, you were always the best father, and you were always the best friend a person could have. Your loyalty and just being a sincere good person is really, really missed.
Right now you probably would have had like 20 platinum albums. To this day, they couldn’t catch your flow. I’m still trying to be better than you, but figured out I can’t be better than you yet. God bless you man and till we meet again. You know we going to see each other again.

Erykah Badu, Bun B To Headline 2Pac’s 40th Birthday Concert

Meek Mill might be bringing “Tupac Back,” but a handful of musicians are paying their respects to the slain rapper. The lineup for the 2Pac 40th Birthday Concert Celebration has been announced, touting an all-star roster for the event that falls on what would have been his 40th birthday.
Erykah Badu will headline the tribute show, which is set to be hosted by Afeni Shakur and comedian Mike Epps.DJ Drama will man the wheels of steel for the concert, while additional performers include Too Short, Roy Ayers, Bun B, 8Ball & MJG and more unannounced artists.
“I am greatly honored to have been invited by Afeni Shakur to celebrate her son’s 40th birthday,” said Badu in a statement. “I do not take this honor for granted.”
The concert will take place on June 16th, which was declared “Tupac Day” in Georgia’s DeKalb County at last year’s event. This year’s show will take place at the Atlanta Symphony Hall, with proceeds from the event benefitting the Tupac Amaru Shakur Foundation for the Arts.
Can’t wait to see how this turns out!

It seem like just yesterday lil’ romeo was just stepping on the scene with his song,
“my baby” he was 10 at the time, since then Lil Romeo has grown in to a handsome young man,
he is positive, smart and he is a hard worker… what more can a parent ask for.
Well Romeo Celebrated his 21st Birthday By Helping kids With Cancer.
The rapper/actor held a star-studded Birthday Bash Block Party yesterday for his 21st birthday,
and also used the event to raise money and awareness for youth with cancer.
His party was held at Millions of Milkshakes in West Hollywood, the party’s invited guest included
Rob Kardashian, Megan Good, Victoria Justice, Selena Gomez, Ron Artest, Big Time Rush,
Rashad McCants, Robbie Arnell, Ashley Argota, Ray J and many more.
I think this was a very thoughtful birthday party,
i get tired of seeing spoiled brats on MTV’s “my super 16″
Romeo is very mature and wise beyond his years

Romeo recently partnered up with an organization called CureForKidsCancer.org this is what he had to say:
“Now that I’m a man, I realize that life is not about how much money you make or the material things you acquire. Life is about love, loving your family, loving others, and loving God by helping others in need. It’s not about what you have but what you do with what you have that matters and that’s why I give.”
Romeo added that he felt the need to help because,
“There are so many young minority kids with cancer that can’t afford treatment.”
CureForKidsCancer.org is an organization providing
emotional support for parents, siblings and oncology patients,
linking children and families with similar diagnoses and solutions.

Snoop Dogg’s oldest son Corde Calvin Broadus aka Spank celebrated his 16th birthday ’80s style. His mother Shante and Snoop turned their Corona residence into Club 520 for the night. Crode is a model and aspiring UFC fighter, he received a black Porsche 911 and a cake shaped like a pair of Adidas Superstar sneakers!
His younger brother Cordell aka Rook, sister Cori, and close friends and family partied like it was 1989.
Snoop Dogg dressed up like Kool Herc, and Shante looked cute lol….
Corde reminds me so much of Snoop, Snoop has some handsome sons,
little Cori doesn’t look like anyone in the family #sideeye, but she did look adorable in her 80′s outfit as well.
