Drake Has His Security Team Confront The Tattoo Artist Who Called Him A Goofnugget R&B Dude
Jan 17th

Remember the crazy Drake stan that got his name tattooed across her entire forehead? Well, in an interview after a photo of the tattoo went viral, the L.A.-based artist behind the ink-work called Drake a “goofnugget R&B dude” and “the softest motherf**ker in Hip-Hop.”
Naturally, Drake didn’t take too kindly to the tattoo artist’s insult, and issued a threatening message for the guy:
“The guy who tatted is a f**king a**hole though, I will tell you that. F**k you to that tattoo artist by the way because you’re an asshole for real. You should lose your job and never do tattoos again and I don’t f**k with you and if I ever see you I’m going to f**k you up.”
well being a man of his word, Drake recently confronted the dude in the lamest way possible …. he send a couple of big, burly bodyguards to the guy’s tattoo shop “to give him a STERN warning.”
“Drake sent his security detail into the shop to inform me that ‘nobody is going to hurt Drake in the state of California.’ I don’t remember ever saying I was going to hurt him, but maybe they were referring to his feelings,” tattoo artist Kevin Campbell wrote on his Facebook.
He elaborated a little more the next day via his Twitter:

Drake Owns His Emotions
he claims that it’s what he’s going for…
“If I worried about how am I gonna look saying this, then I wouldn’t make half the music I make, because people nitpick at me for being emotional or tapping into emotions, but we all die one day. That’s just how I wanna be remembered.
I wanna be the guy that stood out and pinpointed life emotions for women, men, young people, old people, whatever it is. So I don’t trip,
Lil Wayne says Drake isn’t his competition, because he’s Drake’s BOSS

WAYNE ON JAY-Z AND “THE OLD GUYS”
“There’s no competition [with any artists]. Music isn’t about competition no more. All the gangster rappers are happy, all the skateboard rappers are happy, all the white rappers are happy… Everybody just happy to do music these days. There are no problems. That shit died a long time ago with them old-ass rappers. We are just making music, making money and having fun feeding our families. Competition is for the old guys.”
VIBE: You say competition is for the “old guys,” but it sounds like you’re going at Jay-Z with that line, “I got your baby money/Kidnap your bitch, get that how-much-you-love-your-lady money.” Are we looking at it the wrong way?
LIL WAYNE: I know for a fact, music is about perception. You can’t do anything but perceive what you hear. If I know that for a fact, I can never be upset about someone’s reaction to it. I’m not gonna say I don’t know what will happen before I say it [on record]. I do know what will happen. I am aware of it. It is what it is.
VIBE: So you knew the repercussions of going after Jay before anything even happened?
LIL WAYNE: Well, I’m a man. I believe as a man you should know that. Every man should know the repercussions and consequences behind whatever they do before they do it. And of course, I know there won’t be any repercussions behind what I did.
WAYNE ON LOOKING AT DRAKE AS COMPETITION:
VIBE: You mentioned how humbled you were at the success of “She Will.” Drake, who wrote and performs the song’s chorus, has now become a platinum star in his own right. Do you look at the guy and say, “Wow, I helped create a monster, I have to stay on my toes”?
LIL WAYNE: I don’t look at it like that. Drake is my artist. If he wasn’t my artist, then yeah maybe. But that’s my artist. He’s not [just] a friend. We’re more than friends. It’s business. It would be impossible for it to be a competition. I mean, I’m the guy’s boss.
WAYNE ON HIP-HOP INFLUENCING THE LONDON RIOTS:
VIBE: Given that Cash Money artist Jay Sean is a native of the U.K., you probably have some strong feelings about the London riots and how some talking heads blamed it on hip-hop culture.
LIL WAYNE: All you could do is pray for the people that were dealing with the situation and hope for the best. As far as them blaming hip-hop, you can blame Jesus for things, so you can’t really fault anybody for blaming someone or something. All you can do is hope for the best.

Drake NOT On Young Money Tour…Lil Wayne Explains
May 4th

Many fans have been wondering why Drake has not been on the Young Money’s “I Am Still Music II” tour.
Many media outlets have begun assuming there is some sort of drama in the camp. Here is what Lil Wayne told RapFix regarding the topic…
That’s just due to this world we live in today. Because I remember back in the days if someone wasn’t on tour then the first thing we’d think was they were doing a movie or they were doing something else that was productive.
Nowadays if you don’t see somebody in the picture, then it’s ‘Oh, he’s leaving’ and he’s this and “Oh Wayne, you’re mad at this person’ and I don’t even deal with it man, I just get my money and call the shots.
Drake further elaborated last February telling MTV about the possibility of not joining the tour, however, nobody believed him…
I’ve been touring since last March so I’m just going to take time and make my album, But there’s always those nights where you get that itch to go and join those legends like Nicki and Wayne and Ross onstage, so you’ll see me out there, but I’m just trying to take care of the people.
Many believe Drake is slowly drifting away from the camp… What do you think?

T-Pain Is Blaming Drake For His Album Hold-Up
Feb 2nd

T-Pain is blaming Drake for the hold up on his 4th studio album…(who knew he had that many albums)
T-Pain took to Twitter, to explain to his fans the reason for the hold up on his long-awaited fourth solo album RevolveR, was because he is waiting on his verse from Drake.
“I know yall waitin on the album but the last thing I need is a verse from drake and the album is complete,” he wrote. “So find drake and tell him to hurry the hell up and finish the verse Hahahahaaaa #twitterbomb.”
T-Pain also added that the track with Drake will be the next single off the album as well, and to look out for it as soon as Drake gets in his verse.
“By the way the song with drake on it is the next sigle as well so that’s why I haven’t dropped a new single yet. Jus lettin you know”
