Foxy Brown says she’s saved, but she is still considering posing for PLAYBOY…
Jul 18th

Foxy did an interview with the NY post,
She says she is engaged, saved and thinking about accepting a $2 million offer to pose for Playboy…
Foxy needs to take a seat, i could see if this was the Foxy Brown of 1997, but the foxy Brown of 2011 if far from playboy material….
one more thing, who the hell gets saved then poses for playboy?

foxy in 1997

foxy in 2011…i believe she is lying about the offer….i’m just saying.
Check out her interview:
“The Foxy character and Inga Marchand are two different people. My fiancé calls me Inga. No one around me calls me Foxy. I go to church every Sunday. I go to Bible study every Friday night. I’m saved.”
“The mooning thing bothered me more than anything else in the past — because I’m a lady,” says Brown, 31.
Foxy showed up in court last week with her attorneys, Salvatore Strazzullo and Ikesha Al Shabazz, ready to plead not guilty to flashing her underwear and bum last July. The defense was prepared to discredit the story by proving Brown was going commando in a tight dress that night — but the neighbor refused to testify, and the charges were thrown out.
The ordeal mortifies Brown nonetheless. “I’m cut from a different cloth,” she says. “I would never moon someone. I was raised in a good family.”
When she was 15, her cousin, a DJ, introduced her to a still-undiscovered Jay-Z, and she rapped on his debut album, “Reasonable Doubt.”
“Jay and I are each other’s history,” she says. “We discovered each other, basically. Our first record together was what blew both of us up. We became Bonnie and Clyde.”
With her provocative curves — she’s a size 4 with a 34DD bust — and even more provocative lyrics, Foxy recorded a string of hits. She took her stage name from Pam Grier’s famous blaxploitation character and more than lived up to the cinematic Foxy’s bluster.
It was Jay-Z who introduced Brown to her best friend and kindred spirit, Naomi Campbell.
“It was 2005 and Jay said to me, ‘You and Naomi are the most misunderstood female celebrities ever. You have to meet,’ ” she recalls. “He set up a meeting in office at Def Jam. We came in, and we’ve been like sisters ever since.”
But while Jay-Z’s career has transformed him into a mogul, Brown has not released a full album in a decade.
“Of course I want to release another album,” she says. “It’s not that I’ve been twiddling my thumbs. I’ve had major setbacks.”
In 1997, Brown was accused of spitting on hotel workers who failed to locate an iron she requested. She was arrested for missing her court appearance. Two years later, she was carted away by police after yelling obscenities while performing in Trinidad. In 2000, she crashed her Land Rover while driving without a license in Brooklyn. On a trip to Jamaica in 2002, she allegedly punched a policewoman she thought was trying to detain her.
What finally landed her behind bars was her alleged 2004 assault of two Chelsea manicurists, who claim she attacked them over a $20 tab she refused to pay.
In her eyes, her biggest crime is being famous while black. “The prosecutors just wanted my head,” she says.
“If Lindsay Lohan was black, she would have done two years, at least. Is there no equal standard?”
Even in a Rikers jumpsuit, she was every inch the diva. “You’d have thought Obama was in the building when I walked in: The girls loved me,” she says. “The officers were jealous because I was getting hundreds of thousands of letters a week.” She even shot a photo spread for a hip-hop mag while in jail.
Incarceration was easy, she says, compared to the card she already had been dealt — losing her hearing.
It was a Wednesday evening in 2005, and Brown had just wrapped a photo shoot with Jay-Z and LeBron James. She went to bed feeling normal and woke up to a world of complete silence.
The condition was diagnosed as sensorineural hearing loss, a rare viral infection that Brown made worse by ignoring the problem for months, just praying it would go away. Refusing to wear a hearing aid, she would have friends tap a beat on her shoulder while she tried to record for her label. Brown said she considered the ailment a punishment from God.
Brown underwent ear surgery in 2006 that partially restored her hearing. Today she wears a hearing aid she hides under her long hair extensions. “I lost one of my senses, and that’s the hardest thing I went through,” she says. “It’s a miracle I got it back. I can hear running water again. I can hear my mother say, ‘I love you.’ I’m on an assignment from God.”
She said she plans to become a spokeswoman for the National Deaf Association. She’s also penning a memoir about fame, titled “A Gift and a Curse.”
“I live a different life,” she says. “I’m not at every party; I’m not seen everywhere. That’s why people still care about my brand. I’ve never whored myself out.”
She says she’s still debating whether to accept Hugh Hefner’s $2 million offer to pose on the cover of Playboy.
Brown says she plans to release a long-delayed album in 2011. She is also suing New York City for $100,000 for civil-rights violations, false arrest and intentional infliction of emotional distress.
If she’s no longer the star she was in the ’90s, Brown said she’s proud of where she is today.
“I’ve never stabbed, hurt, killed, stolen, anything,” she says. “But I went to jail for a year. What is that? My pastor said to me the fact that I’m not living under a bridge as a crazy woman, talking to myself, is amazing.”
Foxy Brown sues the city of New York for 100 million
Jul 15th
Now that the case against Foxy Brown has been dismissed, she’s planning to sue the city of NEW YorK for malicious treatment… smh
Source: NY Daily News
After a judge threw out charges against Foxy Brown for allegedly dropping her drawers and mooning her neighbor, the rapper’s lawyer says he’s planning on filing a “$100 million” lawsuit against the city. Salvatore Strazzullo told us he’ll also file a claim against “the ADA’s office” for “malicious” treatment of his client. He said prosecutors should never have gone after Brown. “With school budgets cut, they had the audacity” to file charges, Strazzullo said. “Do we want our tax dollars going for this?” A rep for the city’s Corporation Counsel said they “have not seen any legal papers.” Another legal eagle pointed out that assistant district attorneys have “absolute immunity” from being personally prosecuted, and the city would likely move for immediate dismissal.
1OO Million? Foxy will do anything for some damn attention. so instead of funneling what little money the city has
into the school and services, Foxy thinks she should get it? When you sue the city of NY your also suing the tax payers.
I guess since the rap game ain’t feeding you, you gotta try and get it from somewhere. *shrugs* #chickenhead #attentionwhore.
50 talks about Nicki Manja
Nov 25th

50 Cent decided to add his 2 cents about Nicki Minaj, he feels that she is the most skillful femcee in the game.
In an interview with MTV.com on the set of Jeremiah’s video “Down On Me”, 50 states:
She’s the only female around, period,” 50 said. “She has a lane that’s been closed that she just busted open on her own, and she’s an amazing talent. A lot of artists, I personally am not excited by, but her, particularly, she impressed me on that ‘Bottoms Up’ remix.”
In case you care press play:
Billboard Magazine calls Nicki Minaj the First Lady of Hip hop
Nov 13th

Billboard is seriously tripping with that title…
THE 1ST LADY OF HIP HOP?? C’mon Son ya’ll for real?
Nicki Minaj is cool, but she is NOT the first nor the best Femcee in the hsitory of Hip Hop.
If she’s the first then what about Mc Lyte, Queen Latifah, Yo-Yo, Foxy Brown, Lil Kim, Eve,
Missy Elliott, Trina, Da Brat, Left Eye, Rah Digga and let’s not forget Lauryn hill!!
So many females have paved the way, I don’t mind Nicki getting the cover
she looks cute and all, but come on she’s not the THE 1ST LADY OF HIP HOP…
#fohwtbs Billboard Magazine #epicfail!!
Foxy speaks to Sway
Aug 2nd

Foxy Brown recently did an interview with mtv’s Sway,
Foxy states that the media is not concerned when she does good things,
which has led her to having such a tainted image in the press.
“No one seems to care when I donate 100 computers to a school,” Foxy said in the interview.
“But if it’s a little scandalous, they are all over it.”
Foxy also states that when she confronted a journalist who continuously tracked her legal issues, the reporter told her that ‘controversy sells’.
“When I approached Paula Froelich, who was my nemesis at Page Six (NY Daily News),
she told me that if I was doing good things to tell my priest,” Foxy continued. “But people want to hear the controversy and that’s their job, so I have a new found respect for them.”
In addition, Foxy revealed that Diddy gave her some sound advice regarding always staying in the news.
“Puffy told me that some artists are bigger than their records and some artists records are bigger than them,” Foxy said. “He told me that it’s not bad for your name to make headlines because it’s something when Puffy is the headline or Foxy is the headline without selling a record. When I was arrested I had TMZ hiding in trees and stuff and it was crazy.”

foxy speaks about Lil Kim and Nicki Minaj
Jul 30th

Ha! I knew it was only a matter of time before The Ill Na Na spoke about the Lil’ kim and Nicki “beef”
she sat down rectly to talk to MTV’s Sway and to squash any rumors.
during her show at B.B. King Blues Club & Grill foxy rapped, “I’m the only Trini chick that can kick yard shit,” causing concertgoers to speculate whether she was taking shots at Trinidadian rapper Nicki Minaj, but Foxy said she has no problem with Nicki.
“I actually applaud Nicki for it,” she told MTV News. “I think she’s doing an incredible job of branding herself. When you’re a boss bitch, you give it up. Send her a Chanel bag or something. If you’re winning, you’re winning. That’s just how I see it.”
While she did give Nicki props, she also cautioned the female MCs out there
not to mess with her. “I’m a beast on that mic,” she warned.
“I don’t really think they want any problems with that.”
Unlike thirsty Lil’ Kim, Fox doesn’t feel her peers need to pay homage to her.
“I’m not even in that category ’cause I’m still one of the youngest female rappers in the game,” she said. “[Other rappers] may feel like that because they’re older, but I myself am still young.”
