Fat Joe Says Hip Hop Is Run By The “Gay Mafia”
Nov 14th

Joey Crack also suspects that he’s previously collaborated with gay rappers.
Fat Joe recently sounded off on homosexuality and Hip Hop, speaking with Vlad TV about his perspective on closeted rappers and the need for gays to come out. During the interview, he said that he’s definitely done songs with gay lyricists and that they shouldn’t be afraid to show who they are.
“I think I’ve done songs with gay rappers. I’m pretty sure of that. I’m pretty sure the football niggas is gay, the basketball niggas is gay – niggas is gay,” he said. “There’s millions of gay people in the world. Girls, too. Once again, I’m not a fan of that shit either. I’m a fan of, ‘Yo, I’m gay, what the fuck?’ 2011, you gotta hide that you’re gay? Be real! Like, ‘I’m gay, what the fuck?’ If you gay, you gay. That’s your preference. Fuck it, if the people don’t like it.”
He also gave his perspective on what he describes as Hip Hop’s “gay mafia,” referring to those who make moves behind the scenes. He says that gay members of the media are gatekeepers and hold a position of power.
“[Hip Hop] is the greatest gay market in the world. The Hip Hop community is most likely owned by gay. I happen to think there’s a gay mafia in Hip Hop. Not rappers – editorial presidents of magazines, the PDs at radio stations, the people who give you awards at award shows. This is the fucking gay mafia, man. They’re in power,” he continued. “So why wouldn’t a guy come out and say, ‘Yo, I’m gay’ and get that type of love? Like Lady Gaga, I don’t know if she’s gay but she’s running with that gay shit for real. And she’s winning. [...] It’s 2011 going on 2012. I think if you’re gay, rep your set.”
Fat Joe believe that the Music industry is run by a gay mafia ,and people are hiding their sexuality fro the media .
Forbes Predicts That Sean “Diddy” Combs Will Become Hip Hop’s First Billionaire
Sep 29th

The Bad Boy mogul might just beat out 50 Cent, Jay-Z and more in the quest to hit a billi.
Forbes magazine released its Forbes 400 list of America’s richest citizens, but no Hip Hop moguls managed to make the cut. Analyzing the race to become Hip Hop’s first billionaire, the publication predicts that Sean “Diddy” Combs will be the first to cross the billi mark with his current estimated net worth of $500 million.
The magazine explains that Diddy’s vodka deal with Diageo as an owner of Ciroc could increase his net worth. The Bad Boy honcho rakes in annual profits from the growing brand and could get a large payout if it’s sold. Additionally, his stakes in Sean John and Enyce as well as marketing firm Blue Flame and Bad Boy could put him ahead of Jay-Z as Hip Hop’s richest figure.
Birdman disagreed, proclaiming that Young Money Cash Money will earn an ninth zero before anyone else. “I think Young Money Cash Money would be the first billion-dollar brand in hip-hop,” he wrote in an email. “We strong and growing every day as a brand and fast. Within the next few years we will be billionaires.”
P.Diddy becoming Hip Hop first billionaire wouldn’t surprise me. Forbes magazine always put Diddy on top of the list when its time to check how much money celebrities make in a year.
Snoop Dogg considers launching hip hop version of The X Factor
May 18th

The rapper Snoop Dogg has announced he wants to produce an X Factor-style television program to find the next big hip-hop star.
The 39-year-old singer, who is in the UK to promote the launch of his 11th studio album Doggumentary, said that although he thought X Factor and American Idol were “great shows”,
he felt there was space in the market for a televised talent contest “straight directed to the hood … at people with no money, just talent”.
He said: “I’m looking for a deal from a network to find America’s hottest hood artists.”
Asked what he thought of pop star Cheryl Cole, who has recently signed up to be a judge on the US version of the X Factor, Snoop Dogg replied: “She alright. She doing her thing. She a little bit hardcore, a bit edgy.”
Snoop Dogg, a former Crip gang member, is himself no stranger to edginess. At possibly the most politically incorrect press conference ever seen on these shores, the rapper kept assembled journalists waiting in a private gentleman’s club in central London for almost an hour, before appearing on stage amid clouds of smoke and a bevy of skimpily-clad pole dancers.
Sipping an unidentified beverage from a Union Jack mug, Snoop Dogg (born Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr) wore sunglasses throughout as he fielded questions.
Earlier this month, the rapper released a collaboration with Charlie Sheen called Winning, featuring some of the troubled actor’s infamous catchphrases. “Charlie Sheen was my friend before,” said Snoop Dogg. “I don’t judge my friends. If he’s my friend, he’s going to stay my friend. He called me over for a session … he needed real people to stand by him.”
In recent years, Snoop Dogg has successfully branched out into film and television. In London, he insisted that his plans for world domination did not stop there. “I want to open up a supermarket chain,” he said. “But I’m going to call them Snoopermarkets.”
From his own TV talent show Snoop aimed at finding the ‘hottest hood artists’
to a chain of Snoopermarkets, he is stepping up his plans for world domination.
Hip-hop artist Cassidy arrested in Hackensack
May 18th

The Philadelphia Police warrant squad called the Hackensack Police Department on Saturday morning to tell officers there was an open warrant for Hackensack resident Barry Reese,
also known as the rapper Cassidy, Hackensack police Lt. Timothy Lloyd said.
The warrant was for violating probation, but Reese is also a suspect in a murder and two attempted murders in Philadelphia, Lloyd said.
Philadelphia police knew from a prior investigation that the rapper lived in Hackensack, Lloyd said.
Philadelphia police told their Hackensack counterparts “to consider this person armed and dangerous,” and this was a “high-risk warrant,” Lloyd said.
Officers from the Hackensack Police Emergency Response Team and the police department’s juvenile bureau watched Reese’s home Saturday on Reilly Court, Lloyd said.
Reese left his house about 1:30 p.m. and was followed by police to a local convenience store, Lloyd said.
An undercover ERT officer went in the store and positively identified Reese, he said.
When Reese came out of the store, “the ERT units moved in and conducted a felony motor vehicle stop,” Lloyd said.
Reese “was very surprised,” Lloyd said. The officers who arrested the rapper “did an outstanding job,” he said.
“Without the proper teamwork going on, this could have spiraled out of control quickly.”
No one was injured in the arrest, Lloyd said.
Reese, 28, will be brought to the Bergen County Jail Annex to await extradition to Philadelphia, Lloyd said.
Cassidy’s most well-known single is 2005’s “I’m a Hustla,” which reached No. 8 on the Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop charts.
For some reason Rappers can’t seem to stay out of trouble!
Jay-z talks about his childhood
Dec 10th

Jay-Z sat down with Charlie Rose to talk about his book “Decoded”,
they also got in Depth About Past, present and his future in Hip-Hop.
“I am normally a private person,” Jay said in the interview. “So when I first sat down to do the book, it was very personal and hard for me to read because it was very personal. It was not only about me and Hip-Hop, but my family and friends and things of that nature, so it took me a long time to brace myself to be that open for the world to read.”
In addition to speaking on his book, Jay also talked about how he avoided a prison sentence and how he felt the day his father left.
“As a child you look at your father as larger than life, like a superhero,” Jay continued. “I don’t know what’s worse, not knowing your dad or to have him leave and feeling that sense of abandonment; because that feeling is what shaped who I was and who I am today.”

Billboard Magazine calls Nicki Minaj the First Lady of Hip hop
Nov 13th

Billboard is seriously tripping with that title…
THE 1ST LADY OF HIP HOP?? C’mon Son ya’ll for real?
Nicki Minaj is cool, but she is NOT the first nor the best Femcee in the hsitory of Hip Hop.
If she’s the first then what about Mc Lyte, Queen Latifah, Yo-Yo, Foxy Brown, Lil Kim, Eve,
Missy Elliott, Trina, Da Brat, Left Eye, Rah Digga and let’s not forget Lauryn hill!!
So many females have paved the way, I don’t mind Nicki getting the cover
she looks cute and all, but come on she’s not the THE 1ST LADY OF HIP HOP…
#fohwtbs Billboard Magazine #epicfail!!
