Judge Michael Pastor threw the book at Dr. Conrad Murray, sentencing him to 4 YEARS IN PRISON. But Murray will not spend a single day in prison because of a new California law. He’ll serve his time in L.A. County Jail. And in jail, at most Murray will only serve half the sentence.
As for restitution, Judge Pastor ordered Dr. Murray to pay “appropriate restitution” to the Estate and to MJ’s kids at a later date … but the judge seemed dubious about the $100 million request by the prosecution.
Judge Pastor ruled Murray must pay an $800 fine, a $30 court security fee, and a $40 criminal conviction assessment.
Judge Pastor said, “There are those who feel Dr. Murray is a saint. There are those who feel he’s the devil. He is neither. He’s a human being.”
Judge Pastor says it’s irrelevant to him that Michael might have met this fate with some other doctor. The fact is, Pastor said, Michael Jackson died because of the actions of … Dr. Murray.”
Dr. Murray needs to go on and tell who was behind this…he had help in killing MJ

Michael Jackson Manslaughter Trial Begins

The prosecution and defense have made their opening arguments in the trial of Dr. Conrad Murray, who has been charged with involuntary manslaughter in connection with the death of Pop legend Michael Jackson.
Defense attorney Ed Chernoff told jurors that, on the morning of his death, Jackson swallowed several lorazepam pills, and ingested the anesthetic propofol, allegedly leading to a “perfect storm in his body” that, in the end, was fatal.
The defense’s statement came after more than an hour of opening arguments after prosecutors painted a different picture, according to CBS News.
Murray has pleaded not guilty to involuntary manslaughter, with his attorneys denying that he gave Jackson anything lethal.
Members of the Jackson family in attendance included father Joseph, mother Katherine, sisters LaToya and Janet, and brothers Jermaine, Randy, and Tito.
If convicted Murray faces up to four years in prison and the loss of his medical license.

90s “pop star” and recovering drug addict Aaron Carter dropped a bomb in a recent interview with OK Magazine….
he claims that Michael Jackson gave him wine and cocaine when he was only 15 years old.

Dr. Conrad Murrays Lawyer Claims Michael Jackson Killed Himself Because He Was Broke

The lawyer for Dr. Conrad Murray, the doctor accused of administering the drugs that killed Michael Jackson, is claiming that his client is innocent.
The AP is reporting that Murray’s lawyer, Edward Chernoff, is arguing that it was Jackson himself
In a pre-trial hearing, Chernoff argued that Jackson was so down and out over his declining empire and deep debt that he took his own life, and asked for access to Jackson’s financial records in order to prove it.
However, not everyone was feeling the doc’s defense. Prosecutors slammed Chernoff, claiming that his allegations were part of a ploy to defame Jackson. The judge denied Chernoff’s request on grounds that it was an unnecessary invasion of Jackson’s privacy. The court is still screening jurors for the upcoming trial.
Michael’s death was a set up point blank, Dr. Murray is nothing but a foolish scape goat,
I would be saying the same sh*t if I was on trial for killing the King of Pop.

After hearing all the negative press aimed at Quincy for letting T-pain runin a classic,
T-Pain found it was necessary to stick up for Jones,
and cuss everyone out who didn’t like the 2010 version of PYT.

I had the pleasure of meeting MJ and when I left his house I got a call from his lawyer telling mr that MJ wanted me to remake that song. Teddy Riley goes in on Quincy Jones

As the new Michael Jackson album hits shelves today more than a year after his death, drama continues to erupt .
Teddy Riley is the latest to speak on the controversy… Will.I.Am, Katherine Jackson and Quincy Jones,
have all said that the album should of never been released, Teddy Riley said he fought hard to release it.
In an interview with the UK Guardian, Riley said:
“I’m confident Michael would have wanted his message out there, and that’s what counts. I fought against his family big time. The only reason I fought against them all and fought against the fans was to make them believe that this is Michael Jackson’s vocals.”
Riley also made sure to speak on the comments of Quincy Jones’ comments about the questionable voice that may or may not be Michael on the album.
“Look at his age. He can barely hear you talk. How the hell could he hear Michael? Anybody who says [it is not Jackson on the album], I do have a comeback, because you’re not right. That’s just the bottom line.”

Katharine Jackson SUES AEG

Katherine Jackson and her grandchildren Michael Jackson’s kids are suing AEG Live and are holding them accountable for Michael Jackson’s death.
Mrs. Jackson claims that AEG Live, the company behind MJ’s “This Is It” Tour breached their agreement to take care of and provide physical care for Michael. She also claims that the company showed their disregard for Michael’s health by hiring Dr. Conrad Murray as his physician.

In the document, Katherine also blames AEG for hiring Dr. Murray without a proper background check — claiming, “AEG did not provide a doctor who was truly looking out for Jackson’s well-being and did not provide equipment.”
The suit also alleges AEG caused emotional distress to Michael’s son Prince because he witnessed Michael suffering and dying, and “he was put in a position as bystander to these tragic events.” Kenny Ortega, who produced the planned London concerts for Michael, is also named as a defendant.
The attorney who filed the suit, Brian J. Panish, released a statement saying, “The purpose of this lawsuit is to prove to the world the truth about what happened to Michael Jackson, once and for all.”
