New PETA exhibit equates selling animals to Slavery!!

Peta will begin showcasing an exhibit in the Natural History Museum in Washington, D.C. this September, that will use depictions of slavery, and other historic oppressions of human beings, as a comparison to animal cruelty.
“Child labor, human slavery, and the oppression of women all came to be opposed by our society, thanks to the passion and hard work of human rights activists,” said PETA President Ingrid E. Newkirk.
The exhibit will consist of six large, double-sided panels that show graphic images of animal cruelty, as well as cruelty towards humans.
The first panel displays Martin Luther King, Jr.’s quote: “Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.”
“We hope that PETA’s display will help people see that nonhuman animals suffer today just as humans once did, and that we can all make small changes in our lives to help make animal oppression a thing of the past,” she said.

Atlanta rappers Gucci Mane and Waka Flocka Flame, the two have apparently decided to capitalize on the spotlight by filming a reality show.
According to the duo, they’re taping a pilot for an untitled reality television show which they plan to air on BET.
According to Gucci, the show will display “gangster rappers” behind the music.
“We show everyday life,” says Gucci to RumorFix.com.
“What we into in the studio and at our shows. We just ordinary people with a crazy Rock N Roll lifestyle.”
Waka’s mother and manager Debra Antney will also be featured in the series.
“We got a real family. We got heart. We do a lot of things for the community and we love each other,” say Gucci.

Rihanna announced that her first perfume Reb’l Fleur will be released in US department stores next month.
The fragrance – which is described as “a musky mix of vanilla, patchouli and amber”
it will retail for $49 for a 1.7 oz bottle…I think that’s kind of steep for a 1.70z bottle.
for that price, it better come with some lotion and shower gel…just saying.
“My grandmother in Barbados used to call me her rebel flower,” the singer explained of the inspiration behind the name.
“Over the years, I layered many different scents to get something that was truly my own. But I wanted… something that said, ‘Rihanna was here’. Something delicious and special, a fragrance with subtle hints that linger and leave a sexy memory.”
Her story sounds made up, just to sell her fragrance….I can’t wait to smell it.
