Lil Kim responds to drake
Jun 12th

I told y’all it was only a matter of time before this so called fake “beef” spiraled out of control…
Lil ‘Kim is now pissed and she is responding back to Drake’s diss…
she says: I really liked Drake. I use to like him but for him to have the audacity to disrespect me. This nigga gonna f*cking shout me out when Ray J is the one that said it. How bitchy do you look right now. You look like a straight p*ssy, P*ssy! Cause you came at me and I am a f*cking female!
when I wrote about Drake responding to Kim for the 3rd time, I felt at that time Drake should have stayed out of it,
after all he is a man and Nicki is a big girl, so he should let her handle her own “beef”
Drake never responds to diss tracks from male rappers nor did he call Ray J out, so he does get the #sideeye for that…
with that being said Lil’ kim is tripping, why is she acting like Drake went in to the studio and wrote “hit em up 2010″
all he did was state his opinion, which i did agree with… she is coming off as childish and desperate,
she needs to leave it alone….
if your so hot drop a NEW hot album, and stop relying on drama to recreate a buzz…End of story.
lil kim once again dissing nicki and performing “crush on you” from 97…

Diggy gets signed, and twitter go’s in on JOJO
Mar 25th

Diggy Simmons, is Reverend Run 15-year-old son.
Diggy hadn’t even been signed to Atlantic Records for a full day before the twitterheads
went in on big brother Jojo Simmons, age 20.
everyone knows that Jojo Simmons has tried time and time again to launch his “rap career,”
Well Jojo says that he is still making music and hopes to find his big break too.
A lot of folks on twitter speculated that there may be some bad blood between the two of them.
” Diggy signed with Atlantic Records congrats! I know Jojo is pissed,” wrote one Twitter user.
“I wonder how jealous Jojo is of Diggy,” wrote another.
Diggy insists he and his older brother are still tight, this is what he had to say.
“To clear up any rumors, Jojo is definitely supportive, and he didn’t feel any type of negative way,”
Diggy Simmons told the Daily News, which broke the story of his record contract Wednesday morning.
“He’s one of my biggest supporters.” Jojo was definitely positive, as everybody else was in my family, he said.
Jojo called himself adressing the “haters” as well…
“Diggy is gonna take over and I’m there to support him!
Family don’t compete with each other, we complete each other!”
ICE CUBE is pissed off….
Mar 18th

In the words of PAC…
“ALL YOU OLD RAPPERS TRYING TO ADVANCE, ITS ALL OVER NOW TAKE IT LIKE A MAN”
A lot of old rappers have been catching a lot of flack lately, including the masonic prince Jay-Z.
folks feel like they have had their time to shine, so they need to make way for the next generation but instead, they keep dropping albums LOL.
Well recently Ice Cube announced his new album is dropping, it’s call “I Am The West”
Crooked I, Glasses Malone and Bishop Lamont all west coast artist,
reportedly stated that Cube needs to just let the new school handle things.
It was “rumored” that Crooked I, sent a message to Cube saying “we are next and just let 96 stay there, and allow the 2010 artists to ride in the driver’s seat.”
well Apparently, Cube was pissed and felt that he needed to school the new generation through his blog.
“What’s up with these local MC’s in L.A. who keep disrespecting me? They’re just mad cause I don’t f**k with they whack-a**. They ain’t on my level, why should I waste my time. I don’t even remember ever meeting these clowns or even being in the same room with any of ‘em. They can’t make a name for themselves so they need help from the O/G’s. I refuse the throw’em a life line. f**k’em. It ain’t my job to make nobody famous. And for the record, I ain’t scared of no n***a. Especially, no rappers….seriously people.”
He also spoke on the idea that old rappers don’t belong in the Hip-Hop ring anymore.
“Age-ism in rap? Age-ism is everywhere folks. In the work place, in sports and of course in hip-hop. We are a out with the OLD in with the NEW world. But as we go through life we realize NEWER ain’t always better. We find ourselves saying, “Back in the day, bah, bah, bah….” All young MC’s should route for old MC’s to have long careers. If you play us out, what kind of future do you have in hip-hop when you get 40?”
As an OG in the game and one that has created many opportunities, the actor/rapper kept it simple for the new generation that feel the need to comment on his return.
“Advice for young rappers: You gotta be hot on your block first, then your city, then your state, then your country, then the world.”

Brazilian mayor bans funk, rap music as Carnival begins
RIO DE JANEIRO
Mayor Jose Neto of Sao Lourenco in southeastern Minas Gerais state told Globo television he was banning songs that incite violence and disrespect authority and wanted to protect more traditional Carnival music, such as samba.
Anyone caught listening to funk — a pounding beat often with sexual lyrics popular in Rio de Janeiro’s slums — or rap during the Carnival period would have to turn it off or face arrest and up to six months in prison, he reportedly said.
“They are mass gatherings that demand better coordination, control and security that a public festival like Carnival doesn’t allow us to adopt,” Neto told Globo TV.
Funk music has long been frowned upon by police and city authorities in Rio and faced crackdowns because of its association with slum gangs who use parties to sell drugs. But the music form, which originated in U.S. slums in the late 1960s, has increasingly found a mainstream following in Brazil and as far away as Europe.
