Shyne may join cash money…
Aug 19th

Shyne recently spoke with MTV bout joining Cash Money, and releasing 2 albums on the same day.
he says his new album is done and after talking with Birdman over at Cash Money, he possibly could drop two albums on the same day for Def Jam and Cash Money.
“I’m done. I’m just making albums at this point. I’m on my fifth album. I’m not sure, me and Baby been talking. We been talking about doing the Cash Money thing where I put one album out on Def Jam, distributed by Def Jam, and Baby distribute the one album on Cash Money. I might do that, I’m not sure, we’re still finishing the fine points and negotiate that.”
Shyne also said he considered putting out an album every 6 months,
because one album will not fit everything he has to say.
He later goes on and talks about how him and Birdman connected,
and why they are on the same team.
“He reached out to me and let me know if there was anything he could do to assist. When I was about to come out, he reached out to me again to see if there was anything he could do to help me. We’ve always had an open line of communication through the same banner, through the same rag. That’s inevitable. I’ve got the utmost respect for what he does. Baby’s a real roller, putting it in. He built Cash Money from nothing, rebuilt it to something even greater. Wayne, what’s happening, Eastside Damu all the time. Rikers Island, I know the brothers is taking care of you in there. So Cash Money is definitely family.”

50 Cent Interrupts Shyne’s Ustream interview
Aug 13th

In a live web cast interview that was intended to give fans an up close and personal chance to see “rapper” Shyne, G-Unit’s very own 50 Cent decided to give fans more than what they bargained for.
In the live interview hosted by XXLmag.com, 50 called into the question line posing as a reporter.
Once he was able to get through asked Shyn
‘What is the problem you have with 50 Cent?’
Unfortunately neither fans nor 50 received the answer they were looking for because according to 50, Shyne’s label, Def Jam, disconnected the call.
After two more attempts, 50 was finally able to get through and the rest is pure craziness.
“Shut up! Shut the f*ck up! You can’t go to war from an island! I hope you got raped by a pack of n*ggers in jail!”
LMAO 50 is a mess smh.
Shyne finds Judaism…
Aug 6th

I guess Shyne is trying to find anyway to keep his name out there,
he recently did an interview with XXL magazine,
in the interview Shyne talks about his conversion to Judaism…
“My parents were nonreligious, but my grandmother, when she would tell me about God, she would tell me in the Jewish perspective. From Moses and David. I never went to church or none of that other sh*t. I believed in God and Moses.
That connection was made since I was a young muthafu%ka. But not on that level of the way it is now, where I know the law, the history of the Hebrews on the scholastic level, you can say. Like, I know all the ins and outs.”
Shyne also speaks in detail on the significance of him changing his name…
“I could have did that on the street. I could have did that on my second album, and after I went away to Israel. You would think I could make a greater connection on the street than in the pen. But, anyway, that just came across natural growth, natural development. You know what Jamal Barrow means? Nothing. I don’t connect with that. My mother didn’t give me that name. Even though me and my pops is cool now, me and him didn’t have the relationship to have life in that name.
So that name didn’t contribute who I was and who I am. The only ting that contributed to me was my direct relationship with God. And the only person I could think of that has such a great relationship with God was Moses. Like they say, he walked with God, talked to God face-to-face. You know, God will reveal himself in different ways, and people will have different connections. But, like, Moses fuc*ed with God. And being on the streets, surviving bullets, poverty, I dealt with God face to face.
Getting pinched and trying to put that record out so I can feed my family, to see my dreams come true. I looked at my life and was like, I got a real, real relationship with this muthfuc*in’ man, probably more than most men on the earth. And who got this relationship? Moses. And that’s why I came up with that. That’s who I wanted to be like. I don’t want to be like Jamal. I wanna be like Moses. And Levi, he was a singer, a priest—he was a musician. And so I’m a musician. And Levi, I didn’t even know, was Moses’ grandfather. Come to find out, everything you know it before you know it. It’s in you before you even understand the dynamics of it.”

Irv Gotti interviews Shyne
Jul 24th

Murder Inc. CEO Irv Gotti flew down to Mexico to do an interview with Shyne,
they discussed his prison stint and how he felt as a celebrity behind bars.
In the interview, Irv asks Shyne what a day in the life of an inmate is like.
“Well, you get up and handle your business,” Shyne said. “You don’t get much time so you really have to just try to enjoy as much time out of your cell as you can.”
When asked if his celebrity status made a difference in prison, Shyne states:
“For me, I’m about normalcy,” Shyne continued. “I can adapt to anything, so for me it wasn’t a big deal. The thing about prison is that if you come in talking noise, you will get your head popped off, so I just stayed the only way I knew how, real.”
In addition to discussing his time in prison, Shyne also talks about his ties to the Los Angeles based Blood gang and how he became affiliated.
“I have been down for a long time with my brothers,” Shyne said. “I look at myself as a community activist, all the brothers that wear red or even blue for that matter is doing is protecting their brothers from the people who trying to oppress them or hurt them. Other than that, we’re not out here trying to harm the streets, we are out here patrolling the streets and make sure that no one takes advantage of the weak.”
Master P says Shyne should stick to acting
Jul 23rd

Looks like our favorite uncle Master P Percy miller is back and he is once again dishing out advise…
this time he is speaking to shyne, he says Shyne should stop rapping and stick to acting lol.
Yes Shyne sounds horrible and everything he has put out has been nonsense,
but that should be up too Shyne to decide, if he wants to leave the rap game it shouldn’t be up to Master P…
who P needs to give the advice too, is his brother silkk the Shocker
he was the best/worst rapper in the history of rap…I hope he never drops another album just saying.
Shyne disses 50 cent…so Lloyd disses Shyne LOL
Apr 20th

After being released from prison and deported to Belize, Shyne is wasting no time…
he’s already started some new “beef” Shyne recently released three new tracks.
One of the songs, is a freestyle over Alicia Keys’ song “Un-Thinkable (I’m Ready),
in this song he takes shots at 50 Cent, he says “I need a couple million, f*** 50 Cents.”
I don’t understand why Shyne would do a diss track to an Alicia Keys‘ song?…
bad choice in my opinion, it was more a remix then a diss track to me…just saying
I remember when they had their last beef, it was back in 05,
Shyne went at 50 when he released his second album from behind bars
it was called“Godfather Buried Alive”, after that 50 came back
with his diss track, called “piggy bank” lol #classic.
I guess Shyne still has issues with 50, so he’s coming for him again,
50 Cent has yet to respond, but of course Lloyd Banks’ a$$ has something to say,
Lloyd’s not gonna let shyne or anyone else mess up his gravy train bwahaha…
he addressed the diss in a recent interview with Miss Info on Hot97.
Here’s the 50cent diss track…i’m still not used to shyne’s voice he sounds like he’s whispering O_o
Lloyd Banks go’s in on Shyne, on miss info’s show…
he says it’s something in the prison food that made shyne wack…
Shyne is that you?
Apr 13th
“Shyne” or someone named “Shyne” is on Rihanna’s rude boy remix,
I guess it’s really shyne, from everything i’ve read.
i can’t lie it dosen’t sound anything like the Shyne, he’s sound like a watered down 50…
his lyrics were nice, I guess I’m gonna have to get used to his new voice…
Shyne and Ri-Ri are pretty cool, she even went to visit him in prison…
no mention of Diddy coming by there in 10 yrs SMH!
