which dropped yesterday. instead of promoting Soulja Boy spent the day in jail, and got loads of free promotion for his movie…
it is being reported that his movie sold out at Walmarts and Targets everywhere…#stupidsheeple.
Soulja Boy was arrested yesterday after being pulling over for a traffic violation and a routine search turned up weed, guns 70k in cold hard cash.
first of all WHY is he the only one rocking a full orange jumpsuit? where did the rest get t-shirts from LOL.

Soulja Boy arrested in Georgia with guns weeds and whole lot of CASH

Soulja Boy was arrested in Georgia last night with guns, weeds and whole lot of money….

The 21-year-old rapper — real name DeAndre Cortez Way — was popped early this morning by Temple Police Department officers in Temple, GA at 3:15 AM.
Law enforcement sources tell TMZ … Soulja was in a car with 4 other men, which was originally pulled over for a traffic violation.
We’re told … during the stop, cops found a “substantial amount” of marijuana and cash inside the vehicle.” Soulja and the 4 other men were all arrested. Soulja is still being held in Carrol County Jail.
Law enforcement sources tell us officers also found guns inside the car — though it’s unclear if any of the men had the proper licenses to be in possession of the firearms.
One source with knowledge of the situation tells us there was roughly $70,000 in cash and drugs in the car.
We’re told an investigation is underway.

Soulja Boy Slammed With $1 Million Lawsuit Over Canceled Gig

The young rapper is being sued for canceling a show and leaving promoters in the hole.
Soulja Boy is facing some legal trouble. The Atlanta, Georgia rapper has been sued for $1 million along with his label Interscope Records and MySpace Music over a canceled concert slated to take place in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania in December 2010.
TrinCity Entertainment and its owner Joseph Sheldon Brewster filed the suit against the defendants after all parties agreed on SB performing on December 10th. The company paid an advance of $16,250 as well as $3,500 for bus transportation to the gig and $8,000 in marketing for the show.
But after TrinCity promoted the performance, Interscope attempted to cancel the show because it conflicted with a show in Hawaii. The defendants promised to pay $10,000 to promote a rescheduled date, but TrinCity claims that MySpace paid their portion too late and there was no money to promote the new show.
Additionally, the suit claims that Soulja Boy kept the $16,250 deposit when it should have been returned. TrinCity is seeking $1,000,000
in damages for unjust enrichment and breach of contract.

Soulja Boy Up For The Role Of Tupac Shakur In Biopic

Hip-hop fans who were displeased with Soulja Boy remaking the 1992 flick Juice and taking on Tupac Shakur’s role as Bishop won’t be thrilled about his next move. The “Crank That” rapper has revealed that he was asked to audition for the role of ‘Pac in the upcoming
Antoine Fuqua-directed biopic about his life.
According to Soulja Boy, William Morris Agency reached out to him to take on the role. “I got an email from William Morris Agency — that’s my agency that I’m with — they reached out to me to play the part. I’m just still thinking about it right now,” he told MTV News. “Even with the whole Juice movie, I’m playing a part that Tupac played, but I’m not actually playin’ ‘Pac. When it comes to this, I’m actually gonna be playin’ ‘Pac, so I’m really still just thinkin’ about it. But I’m just honored that they would reach out to me and ask me anyway.”
Though he’s still contemplating whether or not he’ll take on the role, SB explained that fans will be able to watch him channel ‘Pac with the pending release of Juice, which accompanies his April 20th mixtape release . The film is already in the can, and is slated for release later this year.
“I shot the movie. It’s done. We did a good job. It’s gonna be crazy,” he continued. “I’m ready for the masses to see it. I got the Juice music video coming out for the official soundtrack for all the people to hype ‘em up, to get everybody crunk.”

In a move that may leave Hip Hop fans questioning who’s more mature, 20-year-old Soulja Boy
or 53-year-old Ice-T, Soulja Boy has publicly deaded his beef with the west coast veteran via his Twitter account.
Earlier in the week, Ice-T questioned why Soulja Boy was remaking the 1992 film Juice.
The venerable rapper/actor alluded to statements he made in 2008, telling Soulja boy to “eat a dick.”
After briefly responding to Ice-T’s words with taunts, Soulja Boy decided to get back on the high road:

Writing on his Twitter page, Baby denied trying to ink Soulja Boy:

Yesterday, Soulja Boy said Interscope Records was holding up the deal:
“I met with Baby and Slim down in Miami,” Soulja said in an interview.
“He’s trying to get me to come over to Cash Money…I still got paperwork with Interscope Records, so I’m just trying to figure out what I’ma do. I got a lot of great options on the table — I’ve been a fan of Cash Money since I was young. I’ve been listening to Birdman’s music since I was growing up. I would have never thought.
Last week, Soulja Boy broke the news of Baby’s alleged interest in him.
“If I could get anybody, I would have probably put Lil Wayne on my mixtape. Me and Wayne, man. I talk to him, but I’m cool with Birdman. When I’m in Miami I be with Birdman. He’s trying to get me to come over to Cash Money. I’m cool with Birdman. I feel like if I drop my mixtape and get Wayne on it, I’d really have the juice then [Laughs]. It is a possibility. When I was down in Miami for a couple of weeks recording with Sean Kingston, Birdman reached out to me. He said ‘come and have a meeting with me’ and he told me ‘yo man you’d go perfect with everything we got going on. Whatever you want. I want to bring you over to this family, bring you to Cash Money.
Earlier this month, Baby said fans could anticipate more greatness from the Cash Money/Young Money regime.
Cash Money is planning for a busy year, too, which will also include releases by Drake, [Nicki] Minaj, Kevin Rudolf, Lil Twist, Mack Maine, Shanell and Tyga. “It feels like a new excitement around here,” Birdman reports. “We had Nicki blast off, Drake blast off, Wayne’s back…It just feels like a whole new excitement around here.
