Rick Ross Sued By Nigerian State For Cancelled Concert

Rick Rozay finds himself in legal hot water after he bailed on a festival performance in Nigeria’s Cross River State.
Rick Ross may not forgive, but apparently the government of Nigeria’s Cross River State doesn’t either. The Bawse was recently slapped with a lawsuit by the Nigerian state’s government for canceling a performance date at the Calabar Festival and failing to reimburse the performance fees.
Rick Rozay abruptly cancelled his performance at this year’s Calabar Festival, a nearly month-long music festival funded by the Cross River State government. In addition to failing to notify the concert organizers of his intention to cancel his performance, the Miami rapper has failed to reimburse them for his performance fees, which he had already cashed.
The Cross River State government has hired lawyers within the United States to sue the rapper for breach of contract.
Mase Sued For $35,000 Jewelry Tab

Reports have surfaced that an Atlanta jeweler is locked in an ongoing legal battle with rapper Mase over an unpaid tab.
TMZ reports that Aydin and Company has sued Mase for $35,000, with bills going back to 2005.
The company is suing Mase for the tab, attorneys fees, and 1.5% interest per month on the money owed.
Court filings assert that the jewelers were unable to serve Mase with legal papers after trying multiple times at his Georgia home, and have had a process server file an affidavit in the case stating Mase is “evading service.
Mase should have paid for his jewlery . He has maid over one million dollars selling records on his former label Bad Boy.
Master P Sued For $240K Over Unpaid Fees

Former employees are seeking over $200,000 in unpaid fees from the former No Limit head honcho.
Count Master P among the many rappers facing legal and financial woes, as the man once reported as being worth $600 million is being sued for $240,000 and pushed into bankruptcy court.
Legal documents obtained by TMZ indicate that a group of people that worked for P on his 2003 movie Uncle Pwere never paid. What’s more, several members of the crew sued the rapper in 2005 and won, but he allegedly never paid up.
The class has taken its case to U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Los Angeles,with the goal to push P, real name Percy Miller, into bankruptcy so that an independent trustee will manage his assets.
It seem that Master P has been catching many lawsuits lately .
Johnny Gill SUED behind his Twitter Tantrum

If you remember last month Johnny Gill went off on his record label for releasing a song he didn’t approve of….
he threw his tantrum via twitter for the world to see…well Johnny’s going to have to pay for that little tantrum…
Ira DeWitt, producer and CEO of NotifiRecords and the target of Johnny’s anger after one of his songs was leaked, is suing Johnny for trashing her on Twitter.From TMZ
According to the lawsuit, filed Thursday in L.A. County Superior Court, DeWitt claims she had nothing to do with the leak — but Gill attacked her on Twitter anyway … calling her “deranged” and “f**kng nuts.”
DeWitt also claims Gill tweeted defamatory statements about her business …saying her record company is a sham and that she only liked the leaked recording because she had a “hard on” for one of the song’s producers.
DeWitt claims Gill has damaged her reputation — so she’s suing for unspecified damages … AND she wants the judge to force Gill to stop trashing her on Twitter.
I’m mad that the record company’s name is NOTIFI RECORDS…
that sound like a bootleg company, but I digress.
Johnny needs to realize,If you speak on it you better be sure about it,
because Freedom of Speech does not mean it’s okay to attack someone’s character without proof,
that could be defamatory and damaging to a person’s career or personal life.
If what he said isn’t true, and he put that out there for the world to see,
then she has a case because She has a job in which these statement could seriously harm her rep.
Either way I’m sure Johnny’s “HOMEBOY” Eddie Murphy will cough up the funds for a good lawyer… #yeahisaidit!
Beyonce Sued for $100 Million by Video Game Company

Beyonce is being sued for $100 million dollars after she bailed out on creating a video game.
The lawsuit, filed yesterday by video game maker Gate Five LLC, claims that Beyonce and her company Beyonce, Inc.
made a lucrative agreement last summer for a “motion-sensing dance video” game called “Starpower Beyonce,”
then abandoned the deal completely after the company refused to adhere to her demands.
The suit also claims that Beyonce’s decision to not follow through with the agreement drove investors away and destroyed Gate Five’s business. The software company says they lost nearly $7 million dollars in investment money,
and more than $100 million dollars in potential profits from the game’s release.
And not only that, but 70 people lost their jobs (the week before Christmas)
as a result of the failed business venture. Reps for the singer have yet to respond to this report.

A former employee of the Rev. Jesse Jackson Sr. at the Rainbow Push Coalition has filed a bombshell wrongful termination and discrimination complaint against the civil rights leader with the City of Chicago’s Commission on Human Rights.
The complaint, filed sometime last year by Tommy R. Bennett, a regular on the Tom Joyner Radio show and member of Barack Obama’s LGBT Leadership Council, includes shocking allegations about Jackson’s behavior toward the openly gay staffer including an allegation that the civil rights leader propositioned him.
Jackson has denied the allegations in a legal response that was filed in July 2010 and resurfaced when the Windy City Times published a story Tuesday.
Bennett, 55, claims Jackson ridiculed him in front of other employees and required him to perform “humiliating tasks” like escorting women to Jackson’s various hotel rooms, cleaning up after alleged trysts and packing his clothing. It also includes an allegation that Jackson asked for oral sex, according to the claim. Jackson flatly denied each claim in his response.
“The Rainbow PUSH Coalition unequivocally deny Tommy Bennett’s false claims of harassment, retaliation and discrimination,” the organization said in a statement released late Thursday, adding that it is “fully cooperating with the Chicago Commission on Human Relations and expect to be fully exonerated.”
Bennett has not commented to NBC Chicago.
Bennett worked for the Rainbow PUSH Coalition for more than two years as the National Director of Community Affairs. The complaint states that Bennett endured a string of discriminatory treatment from multiple supervisors, but his protests were met with deaf ears.
In 2008, Bennett assumed the duties of Jackson’s travel assistant.
In that capacity, Bennett alleges to “clean his [hotel] room after sexual intercourse with women.”
Bennett’s complaint requests back and front pay, compensation for emotional distress and punitive damages all to the tune of roughly $450,000. Bennett also wants an amendment to the civil rights organization’s non-discrimination policy to include sexual orientation and gender identity.
Jackson, a former presidential candidate, has been married to his wife, Jacqueline Lavinia Brown, since 1962,
but has had bouts with infidelity. One affair with a staffer resulted in the birth of a baby girl in 1999.
He has five children with Brown, including Jesse Jackson, Jr.,
who represents Illinois’ 2nd District in the United States House of Representatives.

Slim Thug Sued For Pistol Whipping

Slim Thug is in the hot seat again and this time it has nothing to do with his controversial remarks.
The Houston native is being accused of pistol-whipping a man during a business meeting last year.
According to legal documents, Clarence Evans claims he arrived at a home in Houston Texas, on March 29, 2010,
to attend a business meeting with Slim Thug only to be attacked once he was inside the residence.
Evans describes the weapon used in the altercation as a pistol.
“Soon after entering the home, Defendants suddenly and without warning attacked Plaintiff and violently struck Plaintiff in the face using the end of a pistol,”a court document revealed. “Defendants participated in the attack and directed the other attendees of the business meeting to attack Plaintiff and steal any money Plaintiff had in his pockets at the time.”
Evans, who’s represented by attorney Brant Stogner, seeks punitive damages for aggravated assault, theft and gross negligence. He also claims he sustained the following damages: medical, hospital and pharmaceutical charges and expenses in the past, lost wages and loss of wage earning capacity in the past, pain and suffering in the past, loss of property damages, disfigurement in the past, among others.
Trey Songz Sued for 18 million

Trey Songz has been Sued by a DC based production company, the company has filed an $18 million lawsuit claiming they own the rights to the hit song “Bottoms Up”
performed by Trey Songz and Nicki Minaj, they claim that they were never compensated or credited with making the track.
Derrick Price, Doc Mob Records and IHip Hop Music filed the lawsuit February 2 in the Southern District of New York,
which claims Doc Mob hired producer Milton James aka “Tony Scales” to produce the original, copyrighted track for “Bottoms Up” for his company, Doc Mob Records.
The lawsuit goes on to allege that during the completion of the track, James teamed with producer Kane Beatz
who added production to the song, making it the finished version used by Songz.
Price, Doc Mob Records and IHip Hop Music go on to claim in the lawsuit that the song used on Passion, Pain and Pleasure only
lists Kane Beatz as the sole producer, and that they were never credited or paid.
Price alleges that he sent multiple cease-and-desist letters to Atlantic Records and Trey Songz, but they were reportedly ignored.
The lawsuit also names Atlantic Records, Kodak, manager Gee Robertson, producer Kane Beatz and others as defendants.
Camera company Kodak was named in the suit for using the song in a series of advertisements that featured the singer.
That’s crazy… I hope this isn’t true, if Trey refused to pay or give credit to this producer
then that was stright up wrong…I guess we’ll have to wait and see how it plays out.
Diddy Is Being Sued For $900 Billion

While Diddy is partying it up in over seas, he’s just been hit with the latest suit against him.
Diddy has just been hit with a $900 billion lawsuit by Valerie Joyce Wilson Turks.
In the suit Turks accuses Diddy, his girlfriend Kim Porter and L.A. beating victim Rodney King of being responsible for the 9/11 collapse of the Twin Towers.
Radar Online obtained a copy of the suit that reads,
[Diddy] went through Kim Porter and Rodney King and knocked down the WTC and then they all came and knocked my children down…Set me up to be on disability and disabled my baby. he put my baby in a wheelchair.”
Turks also claims that Diddy fathered her child and stole a “chip” from her at a casino.
“Plus I won a lot of money at the casino in Mississippi and Sean P. Diddy Combs has my chip to my money. I heard he gave it to Gwen Allen to hold but she can not cash it in…I want my chip please help me. it’s well worth over 100 zillions of dollars, and my hospital keys. They put me and my baby in the hospital and broke my baby 2 legs and sexual assaulted my children and crushed us.”
Turks is seeking $900 billion in child support and a $100 billion in loss of income.
Even though I can’t stand Diddy, who ever this chick is need to stop with the foolishness.

So here’s the deal a law firm is suing the fast food restaurant for falsely advertising that they serve “ground beef” or “seasoned ground beef.”
Where’s the beef? Not at Taco Bell, apparently. A law firm is claiming that the fast food chain is using false advertising when it says its Mexican delicacies are filled with “ground beef
” or “seasoned ground beef.” In fact, the lawsuit claims, the “taco meat filling” used by Taco Bell contains is only about 35% beef, with binders, extenders, preservatives, additives and other agents making up the other 65%.
The class-action lawsuit was filed Friday in federal court in California by the Montgomery, Ala., law firm Beasley, Allen, Crow, Methvin, Portis & Miles on behalf of a California woman, Amanda Obney. Obney isn’t looking for money, though. She wants the court to order Taco Bell to be honest with customers about what is in its tacos, chalupas and other dishes. “We are asking that they stop saying that they are selling beef,” the law firm said.
According to the United States Department of Agriculture’s website, “ground beef” or “chopped beef” consists of chopped fresh or frozen beef with or without seasoning, should not contain more than 30% fat and should not contain water, phosphates, binders or extenders.
The lawsuit’s claim that Taco Bell’s “seasoned beef” contains the forbidden additives is backed up by the restaurant’s ingredients list on its website, which says the “seasoned beef” in a Beefy Crunch Burrito contains water, sodium phosphates, soy lecithin, modified corn starch, and anti-caking and anti-dusting agents, among others ingredients.
Taco Bell spokesman Rob Poetsch told The Associated Press that the company’s advertising isn’t misleading. “Taco Bell prides itself on serving high quality Mexican inspired food with great value. We’re happy that the millions of customers we serve every week agree,” Poetsch said. He said the company would “vigorously defend the suit.”
IF they sue Taco bell they need to Sue KFC as well, I strongly believe that they’re chickens are cloned,
there can’t be that many chickens on earth, to sustain all the KFC’s that we have all over this country lol.
While there at it they also should sue Mc Donald’s for using the same ingredients as silly putty in their chicken nuggets.
