Young Money president Mack Maine has confirmed speculation that their company is preparing the launch of Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne and Drake-themed debit cards.
The launch date of the debit cards has not been announced but Maine did offer up a few details.
He reportedly said:

“As far as the Young Money credit cards go, it is true. I don’t have a definite date yet, but I should have one soon before the end of the week. But it is true, so make sure the fans and the people that are interested sign up. It’s a pre-paid card. We’re not starting it out with each member having their own card just yet. It’s just pretty much a Young Money card and then we’ll branch out to like Nicki Minaj pink cards, maybe having Wayne and Drake cards being like the black cards. You know, just different levels of it.”

I love how hip hop promotes bullshit like debit cards, instead of encouraging folks to keep their credit in order so they can obtain REAL credit cards.
Rush cards are the biggest rip off’s i have ever seen, the few people i know who have them have bad credit,
and that cute baby phat card is doing nothing to help them rebuild their credit.
the fee schedules are outrageous and nothing more than a scam, you are charged an activation fee,
plus the card has a monthly fee, a maintenance fee, a convenience fees and many more.
They charge so many fees it’s ridiculous, how can you be charged a convenience fee? What justifies that fee? In their fairness it is capped at $10 per month, but you are still charged the convenience fee, the only convenience I see is that they are conveniently lining their pockets…
I’m not sure what young money plans on doing, but i’m sure thousands will jump on this latest trend.
