As Billboard magazine honors music’s top selling acts Sunday night, an absent Eminem ties Justin Bieber for the top honors.

Unless you’re counting host Ken Jeong’s decision to dress as Flavor Flav and then crawl under Nas’ legs, Eminem offered the biggest Hip Hop presence at Sunday night’s Billboard Music Awards. It should be noted that Em didn’t actually attend the mostly Pop affair, which was dominated by the likes of Justin Bieber, Beyonce and Britney Spears.

Eminem tied Bieber for the most awards at six wins. Out of 46 award categories, Shady took home nods for Top Artist, Top Male Artist, Top Rap Artist, Top Billboard 200 Album [Recovery], Top Rap Album and Top Rap Song [“Love The Way You Lie”

While the selection process by the National Acacemy of Recording Arts and Sciences has recently come under fire for their more subjective methods used for selecting Grammy Award winners,Billboard stated, “all finalists and winners were determined by a combination of chart performances.” The eligibility period for nominations ran from February 28, 2010 through March 1, 2011. The amount of their respective awards reflected the strength of Eminem and Bieber’s current sales. To date, Em’sRecovery has sold over 3.8 million copies, while Bieber’s My World 2.0 has moved over 2.7 million units.

Notable performers Sunday night were Cee-Lo Green, Beyonce, Mary J. Blige and Lil Wayne, and Rihanna and Nicki Minaj, who both featured Britney Spears as a guest performer.

To me Eminem is the best rapper to ever do it , he’s out sold every music artist in the rap game .

NBA star Dwight Howard who plays for the Orlando Magic, has won a $500,000 settlement against the mother of his child in the state of Florida.

Dwight Howard placed a gag order on Royce Reed, basically not allowing her to EVER speak his name in the media.
However, appearing on the show “Basketball Wives” violated the order.
Now it is time to pay up.

TMZ reported that Howard claims Reed now owes him $551,606  which includes interest.
So Howard has filed papers with a California court, which could give Howard the right to go after Reed’s assets in Cali.
However we all know Reece ain’t making that much money on Basket ball wives, so he probably won’t see a dime…

The first round of votes in Haiti’s presidential election caused riots in the streets as Mirlande Manigat appeared to be in the lead.
It has now been reported that musician Michel Martelly is the winner of Haiti’s presidential election, according to official preliminary results.
Pras Michel, Martelly’s Secretary of State pick and former Fugee member threatened more protest similar to Egypt if Martelly doesn’t come out victorious. Pras has publicly supported Martelly even when Wyclef attempted to run for office.
Manigat was a law professor with 32 years of political experience while Martelly was a pop singer with a reputation for humor.
There have been rumors of fraud during the first round of votes and the final results are due April 16th.

Snoop Dogg has been awarded this year’s “Do Something For The Kids” award for his extensive work with a charity football league called the Snoop Youth Football League.  DoSomething.org is and VH1 teamed up together to award celebrities who have been dedicated to positive social change.

On top of  having a succesful career in the rap industry, Snoop seems to have turned a new leaf and is really focusing on being a positive role model for youngsters.  His football league provides free clinics for 8-14 year old boys from the Chicago Housing Authority.
