DMX is not getting out of jail anytime soon it seems…
DMX was supposed to get out of jail tomorrow but because of too many infractions, X will have to stay in jail longer.
According to TMZ while in jail DMX has picked up infractions for drug possession, failing or refusing a drug test,
smoking when he wasn’t supposed to, being disrespectful, disruptive and disorderly.
SMDH DMX really needs to get it together, I’m starting to think he like jail…. #jailfail =/
O.F.T.B. Claims Suge Knight Ruined Death Row-Possible Reunion With Dr. Dre

Fifteen years later, Operation From The Bottom is formally releasing their Death Row album,
and they say that Suge cost the label, and how running into Dre at Nate Dogg’s funeral may lead to music.
Watts, California Hip Hop trio O.F.T.B. will release their sophomore album, Damn Near Dead on July 12 through Death Row Records/WIDE Awake Entertainment. The early ’90s group, known for their appearances on numerous platinum and gold-selling 1990s Death Row compilations and soundtracks will deliver the upcoming project, largely compromised of recordings intended for release 15 years ago.
Big Flip (f/k/a Flipside) of the group, explained why fans were never able to hear Operation From The Bottom’s second album during their glory. “It was a lot of bullshit politics, Suge [Knight] fucked up the whole company,” he said of the label’s co-founder and infamous former CEO.
As O.F.T.B. recounted, they got down with Death Row through Suge’s then-business partner, Dr. Dre. After releasing Straight Up Watts on Atlantic/Big Beat Records in 1992, the trio moved to the powerhouse after meeting the N.W.A. alum at 1993′s Urban Network showcase. Subsequently, O.F.T.B. appeared on Murder Was The Case, Above The Rim, Gang Related and Gridlock’dsoundtracks, in addition to other recordings with artists like 2Pac, MC Hammer and Top Dogg.
Although the group’s rise to prominence at the label coincided with Dr. Dre’s early 1996 departure, O.F.T.B. told DubCNN.com that they hope to collaborate. Flip said, “Don’t be surpised when you hear an O.F.T.B. and. Dr. Dre song, we had a brief talk with him at Nate Dogg’s funeral.”
Soulja Boy Slammed With $1 Million Lawsuit Over Canceled Gig

The young rapper is being sued for canceling a show and leaving promoters in the hole.
Soulja Boy is facing some legal trouble. The Atlanta, Georgia rapper has been sued for $1 million along with his label Interscope Records and MySpace Music over a canceled concert slated to take place in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania in December 2010.
TrinCity Entertainment and its owner Joseph Sheldon Brewster filed the suit against the defendants after all parties agreed on SB performing on December 10th. The company paid an advance of $16,250 as well as $3,500 for bus transportation to the gig and $8,000 in marketing for the show.
But after TrinCity promoted the performance, Interscope attempted to cancel the show because it conflicted with a show in Hawaii. The defendants promised to pay $10,000 to promote a rescheduled date, but TrinCity claims that MySpace paid their portion too late and there was no money to promote the new show.
Additionally, the suit claims that Soulja Boy kept the $16,250 deposit when it should have been returned. TrinCity is seeking $1,000,000
in damages for unjust enrichment and breach of contract.
Smh seems like soulja boy, can’t stay out the news for nothing!

Nappy Roots Collaborating With Organized Noize For Full-Length LP

The Kentucky crew meets the production trio behind OutKast’s “Aquemini.”
Nappy Roots is joining forces with production trio Organized Noize. NR, the Grammy-nominated Bowling Green, Kentucky quintet,
is currently in the studio with Noize to record a new album to be released by AVJ Records.
Organized Noize, holed up with NR in Dungeon East Studios in Ellenwood, Georgia, explained that they’re thrilled to be working with the group.
“We’ve been credited with creating the ‘Sound of the South,’ and Nappy Roots is considered the ‘Conscience of the South,’
so it’s great that Nappy wanted to work with us,” says Noize member Rico Wade. “People are going to be impressed by this album.”
Nappy Roots echoed their sentiments. “It’s an honor to be working with legends like Organized Noize,” said NR member Skinny DeVille. “Nappy Roots is a family and Organized Noize is like our older cousins that we haven’t seen in a while, so the [sessions are] like a family reunion. We stayed true to ourselves, but Organized Noize has pushed our limits and taken the music to the next level.”
Roots, which released The Pursuit of Nappyness last year, is currently plotting an upcoming tour.

Husband and Wife teachers have sex with a 17 year old student

Two married teachers from Huntington Beach, Calif., face charges of molesting a teenage student.
A release from the Orange County district attorney and Westminster Police Department showed Daniel Alma Shepard, 62
and wife Gay Davidson-Shepard, 59, were charged with multiple felony counts including oral copulation of a minor,
sodomy of a person under 18 and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
Davidson-Shepard was also charged with unlawful sexual intercourse and Shepard with possession of child pornography.
In March 2009, when Davidson-Shepard was a teacher at Mesa View Middle School in Huntington Beach and her husband Daniel Shepard
taught at Westminster High School, they allegedly repeatedly invited the 17-year-old victim, a student at Westminster High to their home,
the release said, they gave him alcohol and food, played board games and watched movies.
In April 2009 they invited the victim to get into a Jacuzzi naked with them and sexually assaulted him for the first time, the release said.
Daniel Shepard is accused of sexually assaulting the victim until September 2009 and Gay Davidson-Shepard until December 2009.
The victim, who turned 18 in December 2009, disclosed the alleged assault to his mother in March 2011
and the couple was arrested by Westminster Police April 20.
If convicted, Shepard faces a maximum sentence of five years in state prison.
Davidson-Shepard faces a maximum sentence of eight years and four months in state prison.
